Synopsis
A middle-aged woman gets off at the Muju Intercity Bus Terminal.
She goes through the village road and into the forest.
Somewhere in the forest, the sound of bells is heard, and the woman feels she has arrived at her destination.
The woman begins to search for traces of life beyond death.
Meanwhile, Min-jae, who returned from Seoul to his hometown of Muju, works at the county office and lives with her mother.
But her mother is unhappy that Min-jae has returned to her hometown.
Tae-gyu, Min-jae's longtime hometown friend and lover,
lives by caring for his sick grandmother and protecting his grandparents' old house.
One day, Kyung-yoon, a college friend who has been out of touch for a while, visits Min-jae.
